1. Overview

The account you create at account.boomsci.com is managed by Boomsci Limited (registered address: Hong Kong, China, hereinafter referred to as "BOOMSCI") as the data controller. This account can be used to log in and access all BOOMSCI products and services.

For users of our services in mainland China, Wuhan Qitai Information Technology Co., Ltd. (Address: Room 301, Building A2, Phase 1.1, Software New City, Huacheng Avenue, East Lake High-tech Development Zone, Wuhan, Hubei Province) serves as our designated domestic representative and assumes corresponding legal responsibilities in accordance with the law.

We respect and protect user privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, share, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you understand and agree to all of this Privacy Policy.

2. How We Process Your Personal Information

2.1 Collection and Use

We collect and process your personal information only to the extent necessary to provide our services, including but not limited to:

  • Account registration information (such as email address and username);
  • Login and usage data (for identity verification and service optimization);
  • Payment-related information (processed by a third party; we do not store sensitive payment data).

Processing purposes include providing account services, identity verification, technical support, service optimization, and security.

If you create an app or website using a BOOMSCI platform, the account information generated by your users through the app will be centrally stored and managed by BOOMSCI. You are responsible for clearly informing your users that their data will be processed by BOOMSCI, including through your privacy policy, and obtaining their consent within your service.

2.4 Private Deployment

If you use a BOOMSCI app for private deployment, you, as the data controller, are responsible for the processing of user data in your system. You promise not to provide BOOMSCI user information or usage data to unauthorized third parties. You are responsible for protecting the privacy and security of user data in private deployments and assume corresponding legal responsibility.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

BOOMSCI does not use third-party cookies or advertising tracking technologies. We only use local storage in the following circumstances:

  • Maintaining your login status (essential cookies);

  • Anonymizing web page visit statistics for service performance optimization.

  • If you use the statistics feature, we will ensure that information such as IP addresses is anonymized immediately after collection. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

4. Payment and Data Security

We do not store, process, or access any credit card numbers, bank card information, or other sensitive payment data.

All payment operations are handled by third-party payment institutions (such as Alipay, WeChat, UnionPay, Stripe, and Antom) that comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

We regularly review their security compliance to ensure the security of the payment process.

5. User Data Storage and Cross-Border Transfer

In Mainland China, Boomsci has entrusted WUHAN CHYTEY TECHNOLOGIES Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “CHYTEY”) with the independent operation of its relevant business activities and data processing operations. CHYTEY operates in full compliance with the laws and regulations of Mainland China and acts as an independent data processor. It assumes full legal responsibility for its operations. All personal information collected within Mainland China is stored exclusively on servers located within Mainland China. CHYTEY implements necessary technical and organizational measures in strict accordance with applicable PRC laws and regulations—including the Cybersecurity Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Data Security Law of the People’s Republic of China, and the Personal Information Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China—to safeguard the security and privacy of users’ personal information.

For countries and regions such as those in the Middle East, the United States, and Europe that impose explicit legal requirements regarding data localization or cross-border data transfers, Boomsci stores user data on local servers and strictly complies with the data protection and privacy laws of the respective jurisdictions. For countries and regions without mandatory data localization requirements, Boomsci’s relevant business activities are governed by the data protection and privacy laws applicable in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, including the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO).

If you are located in mainland China, we may transfer your data to Hong Kong for processing. Such transfers will be secured through legal means such as security assessments, personal information protection certifications, or standard contracts, in accordance with the requirements of the Personal Information Protection Law.

Data Retention Period: After you cancel your account, we will retain necessary information for up to 12 months to handle potential disputes or fulfill legal obligations, after which we will delete or anonymize it.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable law (such as GDPR or PIPL), you have the following rights:

  • Right to Information and Access: To understand how we process your data;
  • Right to Correction: To have inaccurate information corrected;
  • Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): To request the deletion of data where applicable;

If you are unable to do so through our platform and apps, you may exercise the above rights by contacting privacy@boomsci.com. We will respond to your request within 15 business days (up to 30 days where permitted by law).

We implement industry-standard technical and management measures to protect your data, including:

  • Data encryption (transmission and storage);
  • Strict access control and permission management;
  • Regular security audits and vulnerability detection;
  • Employee confidentiality agreements and security training.

BOOMSCI will provide services in accordance with the laws and regulations of the user's location:

  • In countries or regions where we have local sites, we comply with applicable local data protection laws. Wuhan Qitai Information Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for and bears legal responsibility for services in Mainland China.
  • In regions where we do not have local sites, we default to complying with the relevant laws and regulatory requirements of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.

9. Disclaimer

We have taken reasonable measures to protect data security, but we cannot guarantee that the network environment is completely risk-free. We are not liable for information leaks caused by force majeure, third-party attacks, or user device issues unless the cause is intentional or grossly negligent on our part.

Significant changes will be notified to users via email or on-site notification. We may update this Policy from time to time.
