II. Products and Services
AIZHI Review provides services including, but not limited to, the following:
- Peer Review of Dissertations
- Peer Review of Academic Papers
- Professional Title Review Support Services
The above services are provided through the online review platform developed and operated by AIZHI Review. Specific functions and services are subject to the actual platform availability.
III. AIZHI Beans
"AIZHI Beans" are a virtual unit of measurement used within the AIZHI Review platform for commissioned review services and may not be used for any other purpose. The usage rules are as follows:
-
IZ Beans can only be used to initiate review tasks on the platform, such as inviting experts to review dissertations, academic papers, or professional titles.
-
Each time a review invitation is initiated, the system will withhold (freeze) a corresponding number of IZ Beans. Once the review task is successfully completed and confirmed, the withheld IZ Beans will be officially deducted (consumed). If the review invitation is canceled or the expert declines the invitation, the withheld IZ Beans will be automatically returned to the account.
-
Once purchased or topped up, IZ Beans cannot be withdrawn, transferred, or traded.
-
IZ Beans have an expiration date. Unused portions will automatically expire, and no refunds, extensions, or compensation will be provided.
-
The specific pricing, expiration date, usage rules, and changes to IZ Beans will be announced separately by the platform through official channels. User use constitutes acceptance of these rules.
IV. Expert Invitation, Rejection, Cancellation, and Review
4.1 Review Task Assignment Methods
Based on the client's needs, the platform supports the following three expert invitation and task assignment methods:
- Invitation Method
The client designates several experts and sends review invitations. Once the invited experts accept, a review task becomes effective. The number of invitations equals the required number of reviewers.
- Bidding Method
The platform issues invitations to more experts than the required number (the number of invitations must not exceed twice the required number of experts, and a maximum of the required number of experts + 2). When the required number of experts has accepted an invitation, the remaining unconfirmed invitations are automatically canceled.
Example: 3 reviewers are required, and a maximum of 5 can be invited. Once 3 experts have confirmed their acceptance, the invitations to the remaining 2 will automatically expire.
- Crowdsourcing Method
Crowdsourcing involves publishing a batch of papers to a specific group of experts, who then independently accept the review tasks. The specific rules are as follows:
a. Task Initiation Conditions:
A single crowdsourcing task must include at least five papers. The platform may set a minimum task threshold; tasks that do not meet this threshold will not be crowdsourced.
b. Target Group Configuration:
Crowdsourcing tasks can be sent to one or more pre-set expert groups, or a dedicated crowdsourcing group can be created temporarily for targeted distribution.
c. Intelligent Notification Mechanism:
When the number of tasks is small relative to the size of the group, the platform can use an algorithm to filter experts with high matching scores and only send email or SMS notifications to them to improve response efficiency.
d. Group Interaction Settings:
The platform supports turning on or off the "Task Visibility in Group" and "Dynamic Notifications for Claims in Group" features to control information transparency and interaction between experts.
e. Maximum Number of Claims Per Paper:
Each paper can accept a maximum of a specified number of experts (usually the number of reviewers required). Once the limit is reached, the claim channel will be automatically closed.
f. Expert Individual Claim Limits:
Each expert can set a maximum and minimum claim limit for a single crowdsourcing task. For example: The maximum number of claims is 20; The minimum recommended number of claims is no less than 5 (optional). The actual limit is set by the client or platform rules.
g. Total Capacity Control Principle:
The maximum number of claims an expert can make must not exceed the total number of papers eligible for selection in that batch to prevent resource monopoly.
- Crowdsourcing can be set to require a specific number of tasks to be submitted.
- Crowdsourcing can send crowdsourcing tasks to one or more existing groups simultaneously, or create temporary crowdsourcing groups.
- When issuing crowdsourcing tasks to a specific group, if the number of tasks is small relative to the number of group members, an algorithm can be used to send email or SMS notifications to only some group members.
- Group messaging and group submissions can be enabled or disabled.
- Each paper can only accept submissions from a maximum number of experts. Once the limit is reached, submissions will no longer be accepted.
- Rules can be set to limit the maximum and minimum number of papers that each expert can submit for a single crowdsourcing task. For example, each expert can submit a maximum of 20 papers, with a minimum of 5.
- The maximum number of submissions cannot exceed the total number of papers available for selection in the batch.
4.2 Task Cancellation
The client may cancel a review task in the following circumstances:
- The review expert has not yet accepted the review invitation;
- The review task is not completed within the agreed review period and has not been submitted after the system reminder;
- Cancellation is mutually agreed upon by the review expert;
- When using a bidding method, once the required number of experts have confirmed their acceptance, the remaining unconfirmed invitations will be automatically canceled.
After canceling a task, if Aizhi Beans have not yet been consumed, they will not be deducted. If they have already been deducted, their refund will be determined based on the task status (specific details are subject to platform rules).
4.3 Review
The platform supports the client's objective evaluation of the quality of the expert review. Evaluations should be based on academic standards and must not contain insulting, discriminatory, or personally offensive language. All evaluations will be used as part of the expert credit system to optimize subsequent matching mechanisms.
4.3 Review Quality Evaluation
iZhi Review reserves the right to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the review quality of review experts based on the following criteria:
- Timeliness and completeness of review tasks;
- Professionalism, constructiveness, and objectivity of review opinions;
- Feedback from review clients or authors;
- The platform's analysis of the quality of review content using its algorithmic model.
Based on the review quality evaluation results, the platform will dynamically adjust the recommendation weight and matching priority of review experts, affecting their likelihood of being invited to review tasks in the future.
iZhi Review will publicly commend experts with consistently high review quality, provide priority recommendations, or award them with honorary certifications.

The platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate the reviewer qualification of any expert who violates the above commitments and reserves the right to pursue legal action.
